BYU Women’s Sports Programs 2022

Jul 05, 2022

In the national rankings, BYU’s women’s programs are, across the board, ready to go into the Big 12 and compete at the highest level.

The numbers this year are mind-boggling. Overall, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball went 117 wins and 21 loses. That that’s 84.8 winning percentage.

Speaking of a global reach, BYU’s Laveni and Daviana Vaka are going to compete for Tonga’s World National team next month at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup set for July in Fiji.

That tournament will decide whether Tonga earns a spot in the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The Vaca twins are from Sandy, Utah. We wish them the best. BYU’s season opener is August 13, 2022 at North Carolina, but these two are going to represent Tonga.

They’re just part of this dominance of women’s sports at BYU. BYU has put out some amazing statistics this last athletic year around the women’s athletic programs including soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and track and field.

BYU Soccer can play with anyone.
